Isaaq

Isaaq is a cricketer and coach from Luton. His journey in cricket began through the Lord’s Taverners Wicketz programme, which not only gave him the opportunity to play the game he loves but also allowed him to represent Wicketz at events across the country, including at the prestigious Arundel Castle.

Inspired by his experiences with Wicketz, he developed a passion for coaching and now works as a Wicketz coach, a Lord’s Taverners Super 1s coach, and a Chance to Shine coach. Through these roles, he has the privilege of helping children of all abilities get involved in cricket, creating opportunities for young people who might not otherwise have access to the game.

As a proud member of the Lord’s Taverners Youth Ambassadors programme, he hopes to use his platform to make a real difference, improving access to cricket and sporting opportunities for underprivileged young people.
