Shravani is diagnosed with Asperger’s. They started playing cricket around the age of 8-9 years old at primary school but started playing properly for their secondary school team and their local club in Hampstead (London), where they captained both teams. Shravani had a break from the game for a while and joined Super 1s in 2019. They have enjoyed playing again as it has brought back their love and passion for the game. Playing for the Super 1s has led Shravani to playing for the S9s performance team. Shravani now enjoys being a Youth Ambassador for the Lord’s Taverners, which has helped them to gain confidence with meeting new people. Through being a Youth Ambassador, Shravani wants to gain confidence in public speaking so they can promote disability cricket and encourage others to participate in the sport.
