HAC 300 Cricket and Dinner
Join the Lord’s Taverners and Army Benevolent Fund as we celebrate the 300th anniversary of the HAC Cricket Club and the 75th anniversary of the Lord’s Taverners at the Honourable Artillery Company.
This memorable day will begin with a cricket match between the HACCC XI and Taverners XI (including VIP players), followed by a black tie dinner in the evening.
All proceeds will be split between the Lord’s Taverners and the Army Benevolent Fund.
Sponsorship available, please contact janine.tompkins@lordstaverners.org.
The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army's national charity, here for soldiers, past and present, and their families for life.
They stand at the forefront of support for the Army family, last year supporting an estimated 75,000 people in 51 countries around the world. As one of the largest funders in the sector, they award grants to individuals and families, and fund leading organisations that support soldiers, former soldiers, and their families. When they hear of a person or family in need, they aim to respond within 48 hours.
All serving soldiers, veterans and their immediate families should have the opportunity to avoid hardship and enjoy independence and dignity.
They are the Army’s national charity, giving a lifetime of support to serving soldiers, former soldiers and their immediate families when they are in need.
From helping wounded soldiers to adapt to life after service, to assisting elderly veterans to keep their independence, we’re here for the Army family when they need us. They offer support in six key areas: independent living, elderly care, education and employability, mental fitness, families and housing.
The Honourable Artillery Company (also known as ‘the Company’ or ‘the HAC’) is one of the oldest military organisations in the world.
Originally incorporated by Royal Charter by King Henry VIII on 25th August 1537 and subsequently became a registered charity in 1964 (Charity No: 208443). Their charitable goals remain consistent with those in the Royal Charter – ‘for military exercise and training and for the better defence of the realm’.
Today, the Charity Commission records the activities of the Company as being support to the HAC Regiment of the Army Reserve, support to the HAC detachment of Special Constabulary of the City of London Police, support to the Benevolent Fund and our ceremonial sub-units, and conservation of the Company estate and treasures.
In 2025, the HACCC are celebrating 300 years of cricket at Armoury House.
