Case Study | Lewis

Lewis (15) has autism and also lives with high anxiety and Tourette’s syndrome. He struggles to read social signs, which means making friends is difficult, and before he started playing cricket Lewis had a very small circle of friends and rarely went out.

However, playing cricket with the Bexley team through our Super 1s Programme has made a real difference, helping Lewis to work through these challenges. According to his mum, Karen, cricket has made a real difference to how Lewis interacts with others
