Tackling Discrimination
Through an online survey collated by the ICEC, 50% of all respondents reported some form of discrimination in the past five years.
We believe that our programmes should provide a safe and inclusive environment to access the sport we love, build stronger communities, and listen to one another about their experiences.
"Be proud of who you are, and celebrate each other."
During our over 15 boys Wicketz residential in Malvern in 2022, participants were given an opportunity to discuss some of the issues they experience in their day to day lives, particularly when it comes to discrimination and some of the circumstances they have faced within their communities.
Through Wicketz, we want young people to feel empowered and have their voices heard - they wanted us to help share some of their thoughts on film, so please take a moment to watch below.
