Young people living with a disability and from disadvantaged communities in Westminster are set to benefit from a £500,000 Partnership Grant awarded by the Westminster Foundation in support of Lord’s Taverners national community cricket programmes Super 1s and Wicketz over the next five years.

Charity cricket tournament raises £40,000

The iconic Kia Oval played host to a spirited charity cricket tournament where 150 amateur players took to the pitch in support of the Lord’s Taverners and Surrey Cricket Foundation.

A once-industrial icon became the city’s most unique cricket venue as guests took to the top of the historic Oval gas holder - an astonishing 11 storeys high - for a one-off cricket session overlooking the legendary Kia Oval cricket ground.
