Support Connor's London Marathon dream
Somerset Super 1s' Connor Hyde will become our first ever cricket programme participant to take on the challenge of running the London Marathon for us on 27 April, as he joins our record 69 strong Marathon team.
Connor, who lives with epilepsy and cerebral palsy, has always dreamt of running the London Marathon and been part of our Super 1s programme for over five years.
Cricket has changed his life - giving him confidence, community, and even a pathway into coaching. His passion for the sport has led him to earn coaching qualifications, and he now inspires others as a coach for multiple teams, including the Somerset disability county cricket team. His dedication was recognised when he received a Super 1s Inspire Award in 2023 and honored at the 2024 Sport Gives Back Awards.
Now, Connor is on a mission to give back by raising £7,500 to support us in our 75th anniversary year. He’s already reached 50% of his target, but he needs one final push to get over the finish line - just like he will on marathon day!
Please donate to help Connor reach his goal. Every contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference to more young people like him in our communities through our life-changing work.
