Sticky Wicket 2019
Sticky Wicket, an annual cricket tournament made of teams from companies involved in the exhibition and events industry, almost reaches £500,000 raised for the Lord's Taverners.
As communicated to Members earlier this week, Special Resolution 1, which proposed changes to the Articles in relation to the number of Appointed and Elected Trustees, extending the maximum terms of office of the Chair and Vice-Chair, and related amendments was not put to a vote. The Trustees will continue to discuss these with proposals with Members and if you have comments then please let us know via contact@lordstaverners.org.
Special Resolution 2, which also proposed changes to the Articles including in relation to how we can manage meetings both virtually and in person, updating for changes in our Committee structure and also more closely aligning the articles with the Bye Law changes affirmed in February of this year, was passed by the Membership. Updated Articles will be posted to the website shortly to reflect these changes.
