Super 1s Imogen meets cricketing hero

Surrey Super 1s participant Imogen enjoyed an unforgettable experience last month when she got a surprise visit from her sporting hero, England batter Alice Capsey.

After attending her first ever game of cricket, a Hundred fixture at the Oval, Imogen was immediately inspired to play cricket, recognising Capsey as her favourite player.

This then led her to joining Surrey Super 1s which has had a significant impact on her life.

Twelve schools are set to battle it out at the home of cricket, Lord’s, in the Lord’s Taverners National Table Cricket Finals. On Thursday 21 June, teams from all over the country will be heading to the capital hoping to be crowned this year’s champions.
