Taverners celebrity golf weekend in Catalunya
Members, guests and partners of the Lord’s Taverners have just returned from a fantastic weekend of playing golf with celebrities at the Camiral Golf & Wellness resort in Girona while raising awareness and funds for the charity.
Joined by celebrities including Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves and former England cricketers Graeme Swann, Mike Gatting and Andy Caddick, our guests enjoyed two days of golf at the prestigious Camiral Golf & Wellness resort in Girona (formerly PGA Catalunya) – which is currently bidding to host the 2031 Ryder Cup and recently voted the number one golf resort in Spain.
Over the four days, guests were invited to play two rounds of golf covering both the Stadium and Tour courses whilst enjoying the fantastic facilities at the award-winning resort with a host of entertainment, including evening events with a Q&A discussion panel between our celebrities, a silent and live auction, as well as an awards presentation on the last night.
All monies raised will go towards the work of the charity to empower disadvantaged and disabled young people through cricket.
We would like to thank our partners Camiral Golf & Wellness resort and The P&M Group for allowing us to make this memorable experience. We hope to see you there again next year!
