Taverners move to new offices in Victoria
The Lord’s Taverners are moving to new offices from 2 January 2024 to an exciting new purpose-built workspace in Victoria for charities.
The current 10-year lease on our Chancery Lane offices has come to an end. You will now find us at the new fivefields development in Victoria from 2 January.
The move to the Westminster Foundation supported development, will not only provide the modern and accessible facilities we need moving forward, but also offers significant savings on our current premises and wider partnership opportunities with the Foundation that already supports Taverners programme activity.
The Westminster Foundation is the independent grant making trust and registered charity, representing the charitable interests of The Duke of Westminster and Grosvenor businesses.
Other charities to have already announced they will be moving to the fivefields development include London Wildlife Trust, Peer Power, DFN Project Search and Heritage of London Trust.
With private offices, dedicated workspaces, a large boardroom, meeting rooms, large roof terrace and an event space for nearly 100 people, Director of People and Organisational Development Gabby Shirley explained the move will be a huge step forward for the charity and its continued transformation.
“A huge amount of work has gone into identifying what we need from our workspace moving forward and I’m delighted to say that fivefields offers everything we need,” she explained. “It’s a development for charities such as us that offers an accessible and modern work environment.
“The benefits are not only financial, but to be in a space with other like-minded charities who support young people while also partnering with The Westminster Foundation will open wider opportunities to grow, network and collaborate with each other, through shared interests and challenges. It really is an exciting move.”
