Exciting summer of Taverners XI fixtures await, starting in Corfu
This is your last chance to book a trip to see the Taverners XI in Corfu with President David Gower and Captain Andy Caddick, as part of a festival celebrating 200 years of cricket on the island this April.
The Lords and Commons Cricket Club, a historic team which dates back to the 1860s that's made up of members of Parliament, the House of Lords and other parliamentarian figures, is now joining us as part of the official touring party.
After playing the Taverners XI for the past two seasons, we’ll now be taking the match overseas as part of the festival on the beautiful Greek island, with Royal Household CC, Brigade of Gurkhas CC and the Hellas National Cricket Team also competing.
You can see a full list of fixtures for the trip and other details including how you can book to be part of the official touring party here.
Other highlights for the Taverners XI this summer include matches at Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland, a game against Gloucestershire Legends as part of the Cheltenham Cricket Festival, a challenge against the D40 Disability Cricket Champions and a return to the picturesque Arundel Castle to face the Duke of Norfolk’s XI.
