Our Events
With a wide variety on offer to members and non-members including sporting dinners and lunches, music evenings and cricket and golf events, we can offer you and your company bespoke packages and unforgettable experiences where all funds raised go to help disadvantaged and disabled young people.
We are renowned for our cricketing dinners and sporting lunches where you can hear from the leading cricketers and sports personalities of the 20th and 21st centuries. Holding special ‘Legendary’ dinners every few years with the best cricketers to have donned a set of whites, we specialise in flying in the best talent available for your entertainment.
Since our inception in the fifties we’ve become the pre-eminent organisation that well and truly puts the fun in fundraising. Although, it’s safe to say things have changed a bit since our Patron and Twelfth Man, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, thrilled crowds at London’s Grosvenor House and entertainers such as Mr Pastry, Freddie Mills and Godfrey Evans had audiences in hysterics with their antics.
You don’t need to travel into London for every Lord’s Taverners event. Our many regional committees across the UK organise and host their own fundraisers. You could find yourself basking in the sunshine whilst watching the Taverners Celebrity Cricket XI take on their opponents at fixtures in prestigious locations such as Cheshire’s Cholmondeley Castle or West Sussex’s Goodwood House. You could also be basking in the stories recounted and insight provided by a famous sportsperson speaking at a lunch anywhere from Kent to Kilmarnock.
Our regional events are designed for you to meet and enjoy the company of likeminded people, give something back to your local community and have a truly memorable time.
